Molly has worked as a science communicator for two decades and covered general news and politics as a reporter. Prior to her current role, Molly was the Senior Manager of Communications at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center, where she launched a blog that brought thousands of new users to the website, increased media coverage 4-fold through evidence-based messaging, and consistently exceeded investor expectations for audience metrics. She had previously served as Principal of Model Content, a content marketing agency for health care and technology. There, she helped clients grow their awareness via print, events, and digital media. The agency delivered major successes for multiple clients including Salesforce and the Healthcare Industry Distributors Association. She edited books for multiple authors, including a national thought leader in behavioral health and addiction services.
In her previous career as a journalist, she covered state and federal lawmaking and policy for global and national media outlets, including the Associated Press and Agence France-Presse. Molly has a Master of Arts degree in Medical Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree in Scientific Writing & Philosophy of Science from the University of Alabama. She resides in Nashville, TN, where she explores the natural beauty and craft fairs with her family and plays guitar in a local cover band.
